The Discovery Space International Course 2025 – Introducing the Concept of the AI-enhanced Deeper Learning Classroom in STEM – was held from July 6-11 in Marathon, Greece, as part of the European School Innovation Academy Summer School. This week-long event brought together STEM educators from across Europe, offering them a unique opportunity to explore the integration of Artificial Intelligence in transforming STEM education.
Throughout the week, participants were introduced to the Discovery Space project, learning how AI can revolutionize STEM teaching and learning. They saw firsthand how AI agents can provide tailored recommendations based on the outcomes of inquiry-based scenarios. These insights allow educators to dynamically create new activities and personalized learning pathways for students.

In addition to AI applications, Augmented Reality (AR) demonstrations were featured as an engaging tool that can further enhance student learning experiences.
The course also included a visit to Ellinogermaniki Agogi school, where participants explored the school’s innovative scientific exhibits, including a seismograph, a replica of Foucault’s Pendulum, and the observatory. To wrap up the experience, participants visited the iconic Temple of Poseidon at Sounion, immersing themselves in Greece’s rich cultural and historical heritage.

A big thank you to all the educators who joined the DISCOVERY SPACE International Course 2025. Your enthusiasm and commitment made this a truly inspiring week.
Let’s keep pushing the boundaries of STEM education together – through innovation, collaboration, and the power of AI!
